Thank you for JOINING A TEAM for Down Syndrome Alabama’s Step Up for Down syndrome 2016 Buddy Walk. Here is a Step by Step Guide to walk you through the process of JOINING A TEAM for DSA’s 2016 Buddy Walk. It’s Easy so let’s get started!

HOW TO REGISTER AND JOIN A TEAM:

  • Click the REGISTER NOW button on the Buddy Walk® home page. This starts the registration process. 
  • Select Participant Type
  • Select Role as: Join A Team
  • Click Search to find a team, or choose from the list
  • Click Continue to Next Step
  • Enter Personal and Account Information (NOTE: Your user name is your e-mail address and your password must be at least 6 characters long.)
  • Click Continue to Next Step
  • Choose whether you would like to make a donation at this time (if so, fill out payment information)
  • Click Continue to Next Step
  • Review information and make any necessary changes
  • Click the Complete Registration button

Once your registration is CONFIRMED, you can Register others

  • Click “Register A New Participant”
  • The team to join will be pre-selected 
  • You will enter "Relationship to You" and "Account Access".
  • You will have two choices for account access: ? "I Will Manage This Registrant's Account" and "This Registrant Will Manage Their Own Account". If you choose the latter, you must provide a separate email address for each person you register.  
  • Choose Participant Type
  • Choose Join a Team
  • Team Will Be Shown 
  • Click Continue to Next Step
  • Select your t-shirt size (if applicable)
  • Check whether the person you are CURRENTLY registering has Down syndrome or not
  • Enter Personal and Account Information of Registrant (if you are managing the account, you will not need to fill out the email and password information as you did when you created the team). 
  • Click Continue to Next Step
  • Choose whether or not you would like to make a donation at this time
  • Click Continue to Next Step
  • Review registrant information and click the blue Complete Registration button
  • Repeat until everyone has been registered.
     
  • Once you have registered everyone:
  • You are now logged into your event headquarters for the Walk Event.  If you exit this page, just login with your email address and password when you return to DSA’s Step Up for Down syndrome’s event site.
